Pear Upside-Down Cherry-Almond Cake
Fresh pears and a cherry-almond cake pair up for a moist cake and tasty treat.
||Pre-heat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
||Spray cake pan with non-stick spray and add margarine. Put in preheating oven until margarine melt.
||Remove from oven and sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bottom.
||Cut thin slices of pear and arrange at bottom of cake pan.
||Mix remainder of ingredients starting with dry and adding wet last.
||Mix until combined and pour on top of pears in cake pan.
||Bake 35-40 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
||Let cake cool in pan 10 minutes, then invert onto cake plate.
