Grilled Hearts of Romaine
Something different to do with that lettuce!
||Mix together oil, lemon juice, and finely minced garlic clove.
||Cut hearts of romaine in half lengthwise and bruish with marinade mixture. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
||Refrigerate until just before grilling.
||Grill just a couple of minutes until leaves start to wilt. Then turn over and grill a few more minutes.
||Dust with the grated cheese and enjoy. Skip the cheese if you are in stage one, the detox mode.
