Turkey Habanero Marinara
A spicy and filling ground turkey dish with habanero chilis.
16 oz lean ground turkey
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
6 leaves fresh basil
5 cloves garlic
1 cup chopped onion yellow
2 cups tomato sauce
4 habanero and jalapeno peppers
Heat olive oil over medium heat.
Sauté turkey, peppers, onion, and garlic with some dried basil, salt and pepper.
When turkey is almost done, add fresh basil leaves torn in pieces and tomato sauce.
Simmer for 20-40 minutes. Serve over pasta or rice.
