Traditional Turkey Meatloaf
A very tasty turkey meatloaf with less fat and calories.
3/4 cup quick oats
1/4 cup pizza sauce
24 oz lean ground turkey
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsps black pepper
1 spray canola cooking spray
2 tsps salt
4 oz onion
Spray 9x13" pan and pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
Mix turkey, eggs, chopped onion, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Place mixture into the pan and form into a tall loaf. It will flatten out so make it higher than wide.
Spread the pizza sauce over the top.
Bake 55 minutes or until 180 °F (80 °C) with a meat thermometer.
Note: great hot or cold on a sandwich!
