Three Bean Turkey Chili
Super easy, fast and so very tasty.
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb turkey
1 can tomatoes, diced
2 cups black beans
2 cups kidney beans
2 cups chick peas
0.12 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt
0.12 tsp cayenne pepper
4 <span class="measurestring" title="cup (8 fl oz)">cups</span> chicken stock
1 clove garlic, minced
Heat oil in a large pot and add diced onions.
Sweat onions until they turn translucent. If you like garlic add minced clove now.
Add turkey and brown until mostly cooked.
Add all of your canned items making sure to drain the beans first.
Add the chicken stock.
Add the spices. Season to taste.
Bring to a simmer for about 15 minutes. Serve.
Note: if you like your soup super flavorful, double up on the spices and add black pepper.
