Chocolate Pecan Pie
A pecan pie that will have everyone waiting for dessert to arrive.
8 oz semisweet chocolate
1 crust, single 9" frozen pie crust
3 tbsps butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups halves pecans, chopped
Bake pie crust for 10 minutes at 350 °F (175 °C).
Melt chocolate and butter in double broiler.
Mix all other ingredients in bowl.
Fold in chocolate and butter. Pour all into pie crust.
Bake for 1 hour at 325 °F (160 °C).
