Garlic Shrimp with Tomatoes & Basil
A simple and healthy dish for shrimp lovers.
4 tbsps olive oil
1/4 tsp iodized salt
12 oz shrimp shell on
3 tbsps tomato ketchup
7 tsps minced garlic
9 grape tomatoes, halved
2 tbsps basil, chopped
Place shrimp in a strainer and run cold water on them for 5-7 minutes.
Heat up the olive oil and minced garlic in a pan for about a minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Add the shrimp and stir fry until it all turns orange in color.
Add the grape tomatoes, basil, ketchup and salt.
Stir fry until all ingredients are mixed well with the shrimp.
Cover and simmer until shrimp shells are transparent in color.
Serve hot with brown rice or just as is.
