Beef Chili Stew
A sort of mix between chili and stew, filled with legumes and a touch of tomato and beef.
2 cups pinquitos (pink beans)
2 cups kidney beans
2 cups green beans
2 cups garbanzo beans
4 cups stewed tomatoes
1 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion, diced
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp leaves basil
1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
Mix all ingredients in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 1-3 hours before serving
Note: I like to freeze meal size portions. It makes for a fast and easy meal later.
