Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Flour the bottom of the pita. Place the floured side down in a frying pan on medium heat. Use a spatula to push the middle of the pita down. Brown the bottom of the pita to your liking.
Remove the pita from heat and spread tomato paste sauce around, leaving about 1/2" all the way around the pita for the crust.
Sprinkle half of the basil onto the sauce.
Sprinkle cheese substitute onto the sauce across the pita evenly.
Sprinkle the rest of the basil onto the cheese.
Place the pizza in the oven on a cookie sheet or pizza stone for about three minutes or until cheese melted.
Turn the oven on broil to brown the cheese to your liking.
Remove, cut with pizza cutter and enjoy!
