Thanksgiving Turkey Tenderloins
Turkey bacon adds a smokey flavor when wrapped around stuffed and seasoned turkey tenderloins.
1 <span class="measurestring" title="unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook turkey)">unit</span> turkey tenderloins
1 lb turkey bacon
4 <span class="measurestring" title="slice, medium (1/8" thick)">slices, medium</span> onions
1 dash black pepper
1 g butter flavored cooking spray
4 <span class="measurestring" title="stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)">stalks medium</span> celery
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/4 tsp ground thyme
Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C) prepare a baking sheet by covering with foil.
Stuff each tender with a piece of celery and one slice of onion. Roll up, and spray with butter/oil spray. Sprinkle with the seasonings.
Wrap turkey bacon slices around the tender roll-ups. Four tenderloins will be covered by a pound package , with four slices to spare.
Arrange on foil covered baking tray, and spray lightly with the butter/oil spray.
Cook in center of oven for forty minutes (checking temperature). Meat is done at 160 °F (70 °C).
Let rest five minutes before serving.
