Spicy Turkey Breasts
A great lowfat recipe that will put some zing into your turkey.
1 lb turkey breasts
1 1/2 tsps cumin, ground
1 1/2 tsps coriander seeds, crushed
1 tsp lime peel, shredded
3/4 tsp sea salt
3/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1 <span class="measurestring" title="container (4 oz)">container</span> lowfat yogurt
2 limes yield lime juice
Cut breasts into 4 steaks.
Combine in a bowl the corriander seeds, crushed red pepper, ground ginger, sea salt, lime peel and half of the cumin.
Take the balance of the cumin and sprinkle it on the turkey steaks so it sticks.
Grill or bbq the turkey for ~15 minutes or until cooked, making sure to turn at least once.
In another bowl combine yogurt, lime juice and the reserved cumin mixture to make a sauce.
