Spicy Peas and Rice
A recipe for those early days of Fat Smash.
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp vegetable oil
0.12 cup spicy tomatoes
1 cup brown rice
14 oz black-eyed peas
Microwave rice and set aside.
Mix salt, pepper and oil with peas, microwave.
Plate a cup of brown rice and layer about 1/2 cup of the peas mixture and top off with chilled spicy tomatoes (such as Rotel).
Note: field peas and snaps are pretty much black-eyed peas, but with green beans mixed in.
