Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
A family favorite using ground turkey and whole wheat spaghetti.
1 lb ground turkey 85/15
2 1/2 cups traditional spaghetti sauce
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp parsley flakes
8 oz dry whole wheat spaghetti
1 oz Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp dried basil leaves
1/4 tsp black pepper
8 oz tomato sauce
Boil noodles according to package directions.
Brown ground turkey and drain.
Add spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce and spices to the cooked turkey. Simmer 8-10 minutes. Add Parmesan and stir until melted.
Pour meat sauce over drained spaghetti noodles, stir to combine and serve.
