1. |
Fill a large sauce pan 3/4 full of water and put it on the stove (on high) to boil. |
2. |
While waiting for the water to boil, break up the ground beef into small chunks in a frying pan (do not heat yet), and chop the onion coarsely. |
3. |
Add spaghetti to the water when boiling, and reduce heat to medium. Put the frying pan with the beef on the stove on high. |
4. |
Simmer the spaghetti for 8-9 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir the beef regularly, breaking it into small crumbles. |
5. |
When the beef is mostly all brown, drain the excess fat and return the pan to the stove, add the onion, and reduce the heat to medium-high for 2-3 more minutes, continuing to stir. |
6. |
Add the pasta sauce to the beef and onions in the frying pan, and let it simmer for a few more minutes. Drain the spaghetti when it is finished, and rinse with a small amount of cold water. |
7. |
Portion the spaghetti onto dishes or into bowls, then spoon the sauce onto the top. |
8. |
Eat spaghetti. |
