Dark Rye Apple Crumble
A hot snack made in minutes from apples and dark rye crackers.
2 dark rye crackers
1/2 packet sweetener
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 <span class="measurestring" title="medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per lb)">medium</span> apple without skin
1/2 <span class="measurestring" title="cup (8 fl oz)">cup</span> water
1/2 oz raisins
Core, peel and slice the apple.
Stew the apple in half a cup of water and sweetener in the microwave for 4 minutes.
Remove the apple "stew" from the microwave. Sprinkle with cinnamon and add the crushed dark rye crackers and raisins.
Serve hot or warm.
