Cracked Pepper Steak
Delicious steak with a pepper and rosemary sauce.
1 tbsp cracked black pepper
1/2 tsp rosemary
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 steaks 1" thick beef tenderloins
2 oz dry red wine
1 tbsp vegetable oil butter spread, reduced calorie
Combine pepper and rosemary in large bowl. Coat both sides of steak (4-6 ounces each).
Heat butter and oil in skillet until hot. Add steaks and cook over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until center is 160 °F (70 °C)
Remove steaks and cover to keep warm.
Add wine to skillet and bring to boil over high heat, scraping particles from bottom of skillet.
Boil for about 1 minute or until liquid is reduced by half. Spoon sauce over steaks.
