Chicken, Vegetable and Tortellini Soup
Easy, fast and healthy. This one fills you up.
12 oz bonless, skinless chicken breast, chopped
1/2 tsp ground sage
1 tsp dried parsley
10 cups three cheese tri-color tortellini
8 <span class="measurestring" title="cup (8 fl oz)">cups</span> water
6 tsps chicken base
2 tsps salt
1 <span class="measurestring" title="package (10 oz)">package</span> frozen mixed vegetables
10 basil leaves
Bring the water to a boil. Add chicken base and drop in the chicken breasts. Cook for about 5 minutes until chicken is mostly done.
Add mixed vegetables and toss in the basil leaves and parsley. After a few minutes the vegetables will be almost done.
Add the tortellini. After a few minutes the tortellini will be cooked.
Add salt to your liking and other seasonings as you prefer.
