Pear Upside-Down Cherry-Almond Cake

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
  2. Spray cake pan with non-stick spray and add margarine. Put in preheating oven until margarine melt.
  3. Remove from oven and sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bottom.
  4. Cut thin slices of pear and arrange at bottom of cake pan.
  5. Mix remainder of ingredients starting with dry and adding wet last.
  6. Mix until combined and pour on top of pears in cake pan.
  7. Bake 35-40 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cake cool in pan 10 minutes, then invert onto cake plate.
