Cheddar Drop Biscuits
Yummy drop biscuits made from scratch.
2 cups white flour
3 tsps baking powder
3 tsps sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter
1 cup 2% milk
1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
Mix all dry ingredients.
Cut in butter until coarse.
Add milk and mix until moist.
Gently fold in cheese.
Drop biscuits on a greased pan.
Bake at 450 °F (230 °C) in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
Brush with melted butter and pepper (optional).
